The layout consists of two basic zones – main area above the PC and back area with the container terminal and iron ore mine branch. The main area features triple line in oval around a large station in the middle and big roundhouse in the left part. On the right there are a factory, cargo yard and the port for loading of ships with iron ore. These facilities are part of a town with many buildings around the main street. The line continues in the branch along the right wall, passing over a bridge and another train station to the back area, where the container terminal, iron ore mine and the second roundhouse are located.

The plan shows many different structures, buildings, roads, rolling stock and even the furniture and the PC in the John's room. All these are represented with the figures and ready objects in SCARM, some of them already seen in other designs and others, created by John himself.

The layout will be wired for using of DCC power supply and will be controlled with computer and JMRI layout software. The plan allows a lot of playing scenarios and realistic operaions with more than one train running together.
