The plan features a single main line in oval passing via 5-track train station for handling both passenger and freight traffic with storage yard and loading/unloading spur on the left side and turntable in the right side. The station building can be printed as background image or can be placed only as frontage for preserving the compact size of the layout, but if there are no space limitations, the whole plan can be shifted and true scaled building can be installed on the back side. The main platform is 1275mm (50.2”) long which is about 204m (222yd) in 1:1, so it can accept really long passenger trains. The baseboard is designed for one train operator with a plot for operating wheel and all other needed controls. As the distances in N and the layout itself are small, the uncoupling and points switching may be performed manually, but if you want a great realism, magnetic uncouplers and point motors may be installed as well. The layout is suitable for both analog and DDC powering, but the analog controlling will require insulating of the station tracks. If needed, a small shadow station with 2-3 tracks may be created in the tunnel under the main station which will allow one train to enter in the tunnel and then another (already situated) train to go out.
