The "trackage" name (also "trackwork", "track material" or just "tracks") is intended to show the company's brand name or the manufacturer of the track pieces, points (switches), turntables or other trackside equipment, that is used in a given layout or track plan.

It is possible that the whole track plan is build with tracks and turnouts from one producer, but there may be a layouts that have in them track pieces and parts from more than one manufacturer.

The list of used materials with all parts, item numbers and their count can be generated in SCARM when the project is opened in the program and "Tools" > "Parts List" menu command is selected.
