Description
This layout is a freelance plan that has been designed to be operated as a point-to-point set-up for 4-5 operators. But with the loops at each end any number can run it easily from 1 up.
There is provision for freight and passenger service as well as 8 staging tracks, in 2 blocks of 4, underneath the left hand town. This represents the rest of the world.
This plan is designed to fit in my ‘train room’ which currently houses just my 8’ x 4’, N-scale, “Nevawaz and Nevawilby” layout and a work desk.
I always model steam era trains with no other restrictions than that. I live in New Zealand so try to give my layouts an NZ ‘feel’ but am at the other end of the scale from a rivet counter.
